Let It Go – Part 1

When you hear the phrase “let it go,” you almost instantly think of the hit song from Disney’s animated film “Frozen.” But while reading in the book of John this week, the phrase “let it go” served as a great reminder. We will pick up the story as Lazarus, a good friend of Jesus, died. Mary and Martha, Lazarus’ sisters, found Jesus to let Him know what was going on. Hanging On and Letting Go

The world is full of mixed messages. Like when I ask my wife, Stephanie, where she wants to go for lunch on my day off. Most times she will say, “Wherever you want.” So my response is “Ok, how about In and Out” (a local burger joint). She may say the word “fine,” but I have learned over the years that when a wife says “fine,” it does not always mean “fine” as the word “fine” is actually defined.
